COLORING: STRUZAN PART 5

The Struzan studies continue! This is a rare study that originated while I was drawing a Struzan-like study. I was looking at references for face color and noticed Struzan’s heavy use of “blush”.
First, I noticed it heavily in his female drawings:

But it’s also used widely across his work in comedies:

However, I then noticed a different variation of blush for his non comedy work. For example, I notice that he “weighs” the bottom of the face down with heavy red blush for men, while keeping the forehead and upper eye mask yellow:

In Struzan’s Revenge of the Sith poster, he adds more red warmth to the bottom of Anakin’s face, keeping the forehead yellow.

Padmae had the more traditional Struzan cheek blush in this poster:

But in the Attack of the Clones poster, Padmae gets more of the bottom-heavy blush adding more warmth around her lips and chin:
